30 years.
Still fitting.
Three decades of aluminium and glass, from family homes to malls.
Craft first.
Always.
For 30 years Rapid Aluminium has made doors, windows, shopfronts, skylights and glass for buildings across Zambia.
Every job is made to measure. We come to site, measure each opening, make the frames to those sizes, and send our own team to fit them. That’s how a sliding door still runs smoothly years later, and how a skylight stays dry through the rains.
We work with homeowners, lodges, contractors, architects and developers. Whether it’s one shower screen or a full curtain wall, the standard is the same.

Myth.
Fact.
-
Myth
Aluminium windows are only for offices.FactSlim aluminium frames are now the first choice for modern homes and lodges. They take big glass, never rot and stay straight for decades.
-
Myth
Big glass means a hot room.FactGlass choice, tint and shading do the work. We specify the right glass for the orientation so you get the light without the heat.
-
Myth
Standard sizes are cheaper, so measuring is a waste.FactStock sizes rarely fit a real opening, and the gaps get filled with silicone and excuses. Made to measure fits once and stays fitted.
-
Myth
Skylights always leak.FactLeaks come from poor detailing, not from skylights. We frame, seal and flash every rooflight for the rainy season.
-
Myth
Frameless glass isn’t safe for stairs or balconies.FactToughened safety glass on proper fixings is built to take the load. It keeps the edge safe and the view open.
